However, one of the categories where the representative of Nissan apart from the competition is the aerodynamic roof, and clearance is identical to the model that replaced. On the mechanical side, the new Navara is lighter than its predecessor, although the Japanese giant did not want to reveal the details of exactly how much. The lower weight is obtained by using lighter, but firmer material. Nissan expects most buyers to opt for one of two 2.5L diesels engine- the weaker develops 161 hp and 402 Nm of torque, a more powerful engine 188 hp and 450 Nm of torque. In some markets, notably the U.S., customers will be able to obtain and 2.5L gasoline, and he is currently developing 152 hp engine and 232 Nm of torque. Both engines will be able to get a six-speed manual transmission or seven-speed automatic, while the 4×4 can be activated in a vehicle.
2014 Nissan Navara Release Date
Serial production should start by the end of the year in Asia, while European buyers will get their first copies after the new year. Nissan has not yet released details for the U.S. market, but the next generation Frontiera not expected for at least another three years. In any event, competition would definitely need to be concerned about.
